PBI UMY students have again made achievements in one of the national competitions. Robiansyah Marapaung, a student of class 2022 PBI UMY won the favorite champion at the Yogyakarta Speech Contest competition which was held on June 24, 2023.

The Yogyakarta Speech Contest 2023 was organized by the Faculty of Communication Sciences of UII and held at Universitas Islam Indonesia. The contest, which was attended by 60 participants, was attended by students from various Indonesian universities.

Robiansyah hopes that by participating in this contest, many other PBI UMY students will be enthusiastic about participating in other competitions. “I hope that more PBI UMY students will get achievements” he continued. With students like Robiansyah, hopefully PBI UMY students will be able to continue to make achievements and make PBI UMY and campus proud. (saa)
