PBI UMY has been a part of my life's journey which has given me an incredibly valuable and unforgettable experience. The learning atmosphere on campus is very comfortable, supported by quality programs, adequate facilities, and the harmony between students, lecturers and staff is very pleasant. I got a lot of knowledge during college which really helped me in improving my current soft skills and hard skills. I really feel how PBI UMY really supports me to become a professional educator today, so that I am entrusted by the school to become the assistant principal of academic affairs and curriculum. Lastly, I am proud and very happy to be a part of this extraordinary PBI UMY. I believe that PBI UMY has become a part of changing the world for better.
It is not exaggeration to mention that PBI UMY fostered me in terms of academic and personal development. The courses offered here gave me insight as groundwork materials to be explored more in the next stage of my study. Besides, the research exposure in PBI UMY is tremendous. Therefore, I could present in international conference even in my first year which would be very memorable for me. Subsequently, PBI UMY developed my personality through the activities especially outside classrooms. We have bridging courses in the middle of semester which lead the students to possess achievement motivation, self-esteem, collaboration, leadership, etc. The agenda is arranged in ecstatic atmosphere and interesting site. Furthermore, students’ activities outside classroom, which are mostly handled by EDSA or English Department Students’ Association, encourage the students to reach their full potential based on their interest like debate, public speaking, writing, even dancing. Thus, for those who are still uncertain to join PBI UMY, don’t hesitate, let’s levitate!

PBI UMY left such an extraordinary impression on me. The learning process is always interactive and fun because of the experienced teachers. The programs supported me to expand my hard skills and soft skills, making it easier for me to determine my future career. The organizational experience allowed me to meet very supportive friends. Looking back at my journey, I can confidently say that my time at PBI UMY has shaped me into the person I am today. The department’s commitment to excellence and its dedicated faculty members were immediately evident. PBI UMY has given me a lot of memories and a chance to discover my potential. I love how the supportive lecturer and the amazing classes help the students in understanding the material well. Despite the lecturer and the class, the PBI program and activities in preparing their students to be good teachers are various, not only focusing on academics but also through the experience involved at school as professional teachers. PBI UMY has given me a chance to renew myself. To be honest with you, the first time I chose this department I had no expectation to be a teacher when I graduate, but PBI UMY has successfully helped me in finding and shaped my passion for teaching. This program provides a set number of activities as well as courses that motivate and encourage me to improve my professional and personal development, such as internship programs at numerous school levels, pedagogical-based classes, and community services that focus on educational issues. Additionally, I was taught and guided by highly intellectual, experienced, and supportive teachers who inspire me to be independent and build the strong work ethic needed in college and the workplace. Generally, I’ve gained so much knowledge and experience as well as passion in areas in which I never thought I’d be interested. Lastly and most importantly, PBI UMY was one of the best decisions in my life
What stays with me most from my time at PBI UMY is how supportive the program to boost up my academic achievement and future career. The dedication and passion of the teachers is also contagious. My classes were always engaging and dynamic; the programs were bonded for both students’ further careers and studies. Beyond the classroom, the support and community available in this department is supreme! I am thrilled for all of the experiences I had, the friends I made and the skills I developed at PBI UMY. It’s great to be a graduate student of PBI UMY. Learning at PBI UMY was one of the best choices I ever made. I met fantastic and helpful lecturers, a great and supportive learning environment, an excellent soft skills development program, and a visioner curriculum. It is an honor to be a part of PBI UMY. Lecturers who are close to students, practical learning patterns, complete language facilities and a beautiful Islamic environment make studying here more comfortable. My favorite subject is "Interpreting". Until now it is still very relevant to my daily work. Where I was taught to think quickly to understand the interlocutor that I had to put in the form of a report to be conveyed to others. Thank you PBI UMY, our home!

Studying at PBI UMY is one of the many things in my life for which I am extremely grateful. It’s wonderful to meet the lecturers. I'm incredibly inspired by their depth of knowledge, engaging teaching style, and commitment to helping their students succeed. I vividly remember how they encouraged me when I wanted to participate in an international student conferences and other events so that I could gain experiences that would be beneficial to my career. The bridging course for soft skills is one intriguing program that I'll never forget because it allowed me to improve my strong leadership and interpersonal skills while also getting to know all PBI friends and even alumni. I appreciate everything I've learned at PBI UMY.
After graduation, I work as teacher and was awarded scholarship from Erasmus Mundus. The role of PBI UMY to my achievement is that the curriculum here is designed very carefully and precisely to elevate human capitals: personal (soft skills), professional skills (to be educator), and entrepreneurial skills (to go beyond teaching). Regarding hobby and interests, I am sure every students at PBI will find and maximize their best selves, like Media Entertainment, Sports, Culture, Social, Journalism, and all.
