PBI UMY presents a Professor from abroad from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). Dr. Ramiaida Darmi and Dr. Hazleena Baharun from the Faculty of Major Language Studies USIM, provided material in two courses at PBI UMY, namely ICT in Education and Academic Reading and Writing offline. This activity is a form of cooperation between PBI UMY and foreign universities in order to establish educational relationships.

One of the 2020 students, Luthfan Lazawardi, commented that he felt happy when he attended the class taught by Dr. Ramiaida because from that experience he could feel a new and exciting learning atmosphere. Although the material presented was the same as what was taught by his lecturer, the atmosphere felt different because this was the first time he had experienced being taught directly by a lecturer from abroad.

The arrival of Dr. Ramiaida and Dr. Hazleena to PBI UMY gave students a new learning atmosphere for them and will certainly foster a sense of enthusiasm to continue to gain knowledge in the future. It is hoped that the relationship between PBI UMY and USIM will be closer and activities like this will always be carried out. (saa)
