One of PBI UMY students managed to get another achievement. Ferdiansyah, a student of class 2022 successfully brought home a silver medal from the taekwondo competition which was held from July 21 to 23, 2023.

The Indonesia Bigfest Taekwondo Challenge competition organized by the Prabu Taekwondo Team presented 1200 athletes from various cities around Indonesia. The competition, which was held at Bonang Stadium, Tangerang City, was categorized as Taekwondo Poomsae, or a series of attack and defense forms where participants must attack and defend each other from their opponents in a one-on-one match.

This proud achievement is expected to be able to motivate other PBI UMY students to take part in future competitions. Ferdiansyah also hopes that in the future he can make more achievements and bring the good name of UMY and also PBI. (saa)
