Student Applicants

There are two ways to enroll to become a student of English Education Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (EED UMY). Those ways are the non-test route and the test route. The non-test routes are through Application Based on Ability and Intention (PMDK), Gifted Student Application (PMB), Union Potential Application (PBUP), Application based on National Test Scores (PNUAN), and non-test scholarships given by the university. For the test routes, UMY provides two types of tests that can be taken by the applicants, Paper-based (PBT) and Computer-based tests (CBT).
To support students financially during the study period, UMY also provides scholarships to students who perform well in the academic and non-academic aspects. Those scholarships are the Beasiswa kader Unggulan Muhammadiyah (KAUM), Beasiswa Hafizh Muhammadiyah UMY (Hafizh), and Beasiswa Prestasi Unggulan UMY (BPU).
