English Department Student Association (EDSA) Universitas Muhammdiyah Yogyakarta got a visit from English Education Students Organization (EDSO) Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta on Saturday, 28th September 2019. Sibakhul Milad Malik Hidayatulloh, the chief of EDSA UMY opened the agenda by delivering a welcoming speech to the organization. “Welcome to Yogyakarta, welcome to Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, and welcome to PBI UMY, we are EDSA UMY and it is such an honor for us to have you guys, EDSO UMS today. Let’s share our experience!”, said Milad.
The main agenda was to discuss and share each others’ experiences on organizing events, e.g. competition, workshop, and seminars. Then, there were also some differences between EDSO UMY and EDSA UMY that they could learn from each other.
In turn, the chief of EDSO UMS, Byantara Cantaka Mayestiendra Aji mentioned, “Thank you, EDSA UMY. You, guys provides a warm welcome tous. We feel home, here. Hopefully we can bring much knowledge and of course we can keep sharing others’ experiencess.”
